Chandbibi Mahal, Ahmednagar, This tomb can be seen from any part of Ahmednagar , it is commonly known as “Chandbibi Mahal”. But it is a tomb of Sultan Khan II the famous minister of Murtaza nazam Shah I The hill is about 3080 feet high from sea level. the building is plain but having Eight sided platform. The tomb has angularholes so placed that rising and setting sunlight falls on it.

St. Johns Church was built during British period where most of their units were stationed at Ahmednagar from 1817. Graves in the Church cemeteries and its inscriptions give information about the units stationed here. As per the Church records, the first British Army units to arrive at Ahmednagar were the Auxiliary Horsed Cavalry and then Ahmednagar flourished as Cantonment 1840 onwards.
